Welcome to Mama Lotus Dance Studio!

We are located in Vienna, West Virginia and teach Middle Eastern style dance.

I have been dancing for 25 years and teaching for 10 years. In addition to dancing and teaching Middle Eastern style, I also have a background in Ballroom and Latin dance.

MamaLotus Dance Troupe is available for performances.

I was born with the love of movement and the love of music. There is a spiritual connection that happens when the dance, dances you. You no longer are aware, no longer thinking of the next move or step, and the music moves within you– it becomes you. That is the spirit of the dance. If you’ve been lucky enough to have lost yourself within the music, you will understand what I mean.

Upcoming Performances

SUNDAY AUGUST 28th MAMALOTUS IS HAVING A HAFLA!
We are having a Hafla, what is a Hafla you ask? It's a belly dance party!!! All you dancers/hoopers/fire dancers and drummers are invited to our community wide party. It's a great chance for you new dancers to get your feet wet on a stage and performing for others. Send me a message to set up a time for you to perform. The MamaLotus Dancers and Stamba Soul will also be on stage. After dark join in our drum circle around the fire pit for more dancing! We will be at Fishbone restuarant in Vienna on Grand Central, party starts at 7pm. This is an outside event by the river! You can have dinner at the restuarant and then party with us!! S.W.A.G.G. from Marietta will have a table set up and selling hip scarves and other goodies. We will also have drums for sale!!Call for more information! 304-295-6022
